Websense Authorized TrainingWebsense Web Security - Websense Certified EngineerThis new two-day course guides participants through installation, configuration, administration and support of the Websense filtering software (Websense Web Filter/Websense Web Security). Through instruction, instructor-led demos, hands-on lab exercises, videos, and tutorials, participants gain familiarity and experience with the requirements and recommendations for Websense product deployment, as well as knowledge of core and secondary component functionality including remote filtering, delegated and remote administration and reporting and troubleshooting via internal and 3rd party diagnostic processes. Websense Web Security Essentials (Admins)This half-to-full day modularized course is intended for students that will be creating reports within Websense Security Suites and those responsible for Websense software administration. At the conclusion of this course, students should be familiar with basic functionality, core administrative tasks, and report generation. In particular, students will learn how to: create and maintain policies, utilize advanced filtering techniques, and generate valuable reports. Optional modules include high level technical topics such as: advanced configuration, logging settings, and database administration to name a few. Data Security Suite - EngineerDuring this three day training course, you will learn how to install, configure, administer and support Websense Data Security Suite. Through instruction, iLabs (instructor led demos and lab exercises) and hands-on lab practice exercises, you will gain familiarity with the requirements and recommendations of Websense Data Security Suite deployment, installation and configuration, including policy creation, fingerprinting structured and unstructured content, data discovery, and system architecture. Data Security Suite Essentials (Admins)During this one day training course, you will learn how to administer and support Websense Data Security Suite. Through instruction, iLabs (instructor led demos and lab exercises) and hands-on lab practice exercises, you will gain familiarity with the requirements and recommendations of Websense Data Security Suite deployment, including policy creation, fingerprinting structured and unstructured content, data discovery, and basic system architecture. Email Security - EngineerThis two-day instructor-led course provides E-Mail Filter v6 administration training for the (former SurfControl) E-Mail Filter (SEF) SMTP product. At the conclusion of this course, students should be familiar with basic functionality, core administrative tasks, and report generation. You will learn the full installation process, including pre-installation and deployment considerations, best practices around installation techniques, and e-mail connection management. The course also includes guided demos and hands on lab exercises around the different services (Administration, Receive, Send) and the Database and Dictionary Management modules.
